Routes and Ride Times

How long is your ride time? That answer isn't so easy...depends:

  • How Long We Roll: Figuring out how long the ride lasts is like putting together a puzzle. We count how many passengers there are and divide how long your event is, then we watch customer interest as the event draws on.
  • Picking Our Path: When we pick where we're going, it's like a mix of safety rules, what you suggest, and finding awesome views. The path helps set how long each ride will be. We start small and then add to the path as the party chuggs along.
  • Ride times vary: At the start, We might make the ride a little shorter to quell the hysteria of our arrival. It's like a sneak peek of the fun ahead. But as we get rolling we make the ride longer so everyone has an extended blast.

Travel Fees

When we arrive at kids parties parents always ask us, how did we get the train here. Our trains are not huge but they're not small either, so we understand the question. The answer is, we pull 24' trailers with large heavy duty trucks. Sometimes we are pulling more than one train in a trailer to drop off at our other events. Its quite a logistical challenge to get one of our trains to you. We've been doing this for over 20 years so we have it down to a science, but it still costs us quite a bit. Travel fees are how we handle the travel back and forth from our station in Santa Clarita to your location.

Fees vary from location to location as we map out our travel and time of party. Fees are based upon travel time rather than distance. (Two miles on the 405 in rush hour traffic can be 30 mins.) Call our staff to get a quote for your event's travel fees.

Train Delivery 15 Min Grace Period

While we strive to stay on schedule the logistics of perfection is difficult if not impossible. We do calculations based upon mapping tools predictive analytics, and while they are very good tools and can give us great estimates they are never perfect. We add a minimum of 30 mins of padding to get to every event, to set up and do our safety checks. We ask that our customers give us a grace period of 15mins from their event start time if necessary so that our drivers are not rushed during safety checks.

If exact start time is required we ask that customers let our booking agents know beforehand. A Travel Time Guarantee Fee will be charged. Travel Time Guarantees are not always possible because our drivers are in demand and do come from other locations and events that may conflict with their early arrival, but we strive to make your event as perfect as possible.
